VIDEO: Check out our latest drone flyover at the WAAP site. It shows the new bridge that’s now open, the installation of the new water line that stretches about half the length of the project, and the future bike plaza starting to take shape.
We hit another milestone on the Westside Avenue Action Plan project with the opening of the new Adam’s Crossing Bridge. This will not only help the flow of traffic, but it will allow contractors to work in areas they haven’t been able to in the past.

VIDEO: The new bridge as part of the Westside Avenue Action Plan is really starting to take shape. It took only a few hours on Monday and Tuesday morning (May 21-22) to get all 20 girders put in place. This is a major step in the project and the crews made it look easy.
VIDEO: WAAP Preview – lots of utility work this month both under ground and above ground. The bridge walls are finishing up and girders could go on soon. The construction zone will also start to move east along Colorado Ave. into Colorado Springs a little more.
