MISSION

To provide leadership and support for the management of community infrastructure assets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Asset Management Group is dedicated to supporting, guiding, and directing the operations and management of the El Paso County Department of Public Works. First and foremost, it considers all matters related to the comprehensive interpretation of asset management strategies, tools, and outcomes with the goal of enhancing our community. Subsequently, the group identifies specific projects and develops strategies to obtain funding and deliver these projects effectively. Moreover, it recommends targeted programs, tools, and other initiatives to assist the Department of Public Works in asset management, while concurrently disseminating pertinent information. Finally, the group plays a key role in supporting the development of a local government asset management strategy for El Paso County.
