Department of Public Works has temporarily adjusted the vehicle height allowance at the north and south section of Grinnell Boulevard from Fontaine Boulevard to Dean Street. Until further notice, only vehicles 12’6” and lower will be able to travel through that portion of the intersection.
The temporary change was required after a traffic accident altered the lean and height of poles and traffic signal equipment at the intersection. The adjusted vehicle height allowance will only be in place until the damage assessment and necessary repairs can be completed. The intersection is otherwise operational. The department will deploy signage in the area to help alert travelers of the change
